Junior Cyber Security Specialist

Role:

• Full-time Hybrid Junior Cyber Security Specialist
• Position is mostly remote, but requires onsite presence several times a month.
• Will be working for an important multi-corporate client in the Veneto region.
• Benefits include: paid travel expenses and specialised technical training
• Compensation between 25K-30k yearly, based on experience
• Position is also open to freelancers

 

Responsibilities:

• Identify security risks and operational needs
• Assist in the investigation and analysis of possible security incidents
• Support threat detection and response program
• Aid in creating phishing campaigns for continued security awareness for internal employees to recognize, avoid, and report potential threats that can compromise critical data/systems
• Work with Senior Engineers to analyse audits, security, and to monitor logs for potential intrusions and threats (internal/external)

 

 

Applicant Requirements:

• 2+ years experience with cybersecurity projects (SOC) and/or experience as an Microsoft Systems Engineer Support
• Experience with Siem Security Solution
• Experience with email security software, such as Libraesva
• A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (preferred/not mandatory)
• Italian/English working level
